Priview 2009 Ducati Monster 696 Modification

Probably the most famous model of Ducati, the monster undergoing another improve and reshape. It all boils down to the riding experience that provides the new and naked, which is where the reinforcing steel tubular truss should be mentioned. The main section is shared with the 1098R and linked to the subframe and cast-aluminum swingarm that is brand new, of footpeg hanger included. This shows how Ducati is keen on setting standards in terms of handling and comfort because in spite of the completely new chassis, the seat remains placed 30.3 inches from the ground and the handlebars are brought closer to the rider and footpegs that now allow you to better hug the tank with your knees. It seems that Ducati realized that their little monster is well known among the women riders and tries to accept their demands. But the sharp handling and comfort are only supposed to allow a rider to get the most out of the engine. In this case it is all about the new air-cooled, 696 cc L-twin with two valves per cylinder Desmodromic. This can maintain the bore and stroke (88 x 57.2mm) of the previous generation model, the 695, but the cylinder and cylinder head modified by devices as well as larger valves and combination of simplified design with more fin cooling for greater efficiency. This is because performance figures have now been increased to 80 horsepower at 9000 rpm and 51 ft-pounds of torque at 7750 rpm. Compared to the engine 695, the new generation revs above, is supposed to be even more reliable and flattener.

The fuel-injected engine (an electronic fuel injection from Siemens, to be precise) and the great clutch ensures that the Ducati monster 696 meets Euro 3 regulations. In fact, reports are the same speed as the 695 and that is a disadvantage that only a large amount of torque can be set.

The scoreboard also shared most of 1098 with those R and offers information on speed, revs, the clock, scheduled maintenance warning, oil temperature, trip fuel, air temperature , recovery time, warning of low oil pressure, fuel level, fuel reserve, neutral, turn signals, immobilizer and overrev. In addition, it prepares the new monster for the DDA system (analyzer data Ducati), which provides the rider important information concerning the opening of throttle, vehicle speed, turn-minute engine, the temperature of engine , distance traveled, recoveries and recovery time. That's all for a better rider out of anyone who throws a leg over the new DDA-equipped monster.
